About Cazaar
Cazaar is an online multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace based in the United Kingdom that markets itself as the premier destination for “all things fun”. The platform operates by connecting curated third-party retailers and independent stores from across Europe to offer consumers a vast selection of miscellaneous goods. Its name is a portmanteau blending the words “Carnival” and “Bazaar”.
The Brief
The brief was to create a fun, energetic TV advert for Cazaar that would build brand awareness, drive traffic and introduce the marketplace as a one-stop destination for “all things fun.” The campaign needed to communicate Cazaar’s broad product range, from fancy dress and games to party products, gifts and household items, while helping the brand feel more trusted and established through television. With humour, colour and memorability at the heart of the creative, we also developed a catchy jingle to help make the brand name stick, positioning Cazaar as a playful online marketplace with a distinctive personality.
The Result
The campaign delivered a strong uplift in visibility, engagement and customer action for Cazaar. During the campaign period, active users and new users both increased by around 41%, while average engagement time also improved, showing that the activity helped attract a larger and more engaged audience. Direct traffic more than doubled and organic traffic rose strongly, suggesting the advert helped drive both brand recall and search interest. Ecommerce performance also showed positive movement, with overall purchases increasing and particularly strong growth from direct and organic channels. Overall, the campaign helped raise awareness of Cazaar, strengthened online discovery and supported measurable customer action.
