About Cosmic Brushes

Cosmic Brushes is an independent, UK-based makeup brand founded by Fay Rochelle Walker in 2017. Initially rising to prominence for its patented, handcrafted makeup brushes that feature liquid glitter encapsulated within the handles, the brand has since evolved into a cult-favorite indie powerhouse celebrated for its highly pigmented eye shadow palettes.

The Brief

The brief was to create a bold, colourful and product-led 30-second TV advert for Cosmic Brushes, a makeup brand built around creativity, self-expression and putting the fun into function. The campaign needed to build stronger UK brand awareness and give Cosmic Brushes added credibility in a space largely dominated by social media beauty brands. With a core female audience of makeup artists, creatives and younger beauty consumers in mind, the advert was designed to focus on the brand’s makeup range rather than being overly people-led, showcasing hero palettes including Muse and Nudetrals through clean product visuals, testimonial-style elements and a distinctive premium finish.
