The Brief
The brief was to create a distinctive TV commercial for Hemway, showcasing the brand’s colourful, creative and design-led approach to home improvement and decorative products. The campaign needed to build brand awareness, drive direct sales and position Hemway as a fresh, modern and premium alternative within the paint, glitter and home décor market. With a bold personality and one of the largest colour ranges in the category, the advert was designed to help audiences instantly recognise the brand and see Hemway as a vibrant choice for adding colour, creativity and individuality to everyday projects.
The Result
The campaign helped drive a clear uplift in brand visibility and product interest for Hemway. During the campaign period, website traffic grew strongly, with active users and new users increasing by around a third compared with the preceding period, while direct traffic more than doubled, suggesting stronger brand recall and prompted search behaviour. Product discovery also improved, with a notable rise in product views during the campaign. The year-on-year picture was particularly encouraging, with stronger engagement, more returning users and significant growth across key ecommerce actions, including product views, basket activity and completed purchases. Overall, the campaign helped introduce Hemway to a wider audience while supporting stronger online customer interest.
