About Maped Helix
Maped Helix is a traditional uk stationary brand, most people have grown up with it in school. Maped is more colourful and fun and innovative, whereas the helix brand (oxford maths set, helix rulers and erasers) much more sober and serious.
The Brief
Maped Helix requested an upbeat, fun and innovative TV campaign for their Color’Peps colouring range, targeting mothers of primary school aged children, and the children themselves.
The Challenge
To create a TV commercial which would appeal to both primary school aged children aged between 4-10 years old whilst still appealing to their parents.
The Result
Universal TV & Media Ltd created a fun, exciting TV spot mixing live action footage with 2d animation in which visuals appealed to children, but the voiceover communicated to the adult viewer. This campaign was then aired on itvBe daytime to target stay-at-home mums, work-from-home mums and generally housewives with children.
