About Otinova
Otinova® is an over-the-counter antibacterial and antifungal ear spray primarily used to treat and prevent ear canal inflammation, commonly known as otitis externa or swimmer’s ear. It works locally to dry out excess moisture, restore the ear’s natural environment, and provide fast relief from itching and irritation.
The Brief
The brief was to create a clear, reassuring 30-second TV advert for Otinova, an over-the-counter ear spray used for swimmer’s ear and otitis externa. The campaign needed to build brand awareness, drive demand and make the product instantly recognisable through strong green-and-white branding, while communicating the product’s ease of use and fast-acting relief proposition in a parent-friendly, relatable way. The creative focused on the stress and uncertainty families can feel when ear pain disrupts holidays, swimming or everyday life, positioning Otinova as a practical product to have on hand alongside other travel and family essentials.
The Result
The campaign delivered a strong uplift in awareness and product interest for Otinova, helping introduce the brand to a significantly wider audience during the TV activity. Compared with the preceding period, active users increased by 170.6% and new users rose by 194.5%, showing a clear expansion in reach and first-time website traffic. Product visibility also strengthened considerably, with product views up nearly 300%, while purchases increased by 33.33%, indicating that the campaign not only drove more people to the site but also supported stronger customer action. Overall, the activity helped build momentum for Otinova and generated clear positive signals across awareness, interest and online purchase behaviour.
