The Brief
To mark the launch of Petcube’s flagship product, the Petcube Camera, the client secured a deal with Universal Pictures to cross market the box office hit The Secret Life of Pets with the Petcube camera. With creative which integrated footage from the film as well as maintaining product focus, the client’s objective was to reach an ABC1 tech-loving audience in a number of international markets where the product is launching.
Challenges
To find a broad, entertainment-loving audience who are tech-savvy and pet lovers, in the UK, Germany, Japan and Australia.
The Result
Universal TV & Media planned and executed a TV campaign across UKTV’s channel portfolio to reach a UK audience of ABC1 homeowners. For Germany, Japan and Australia Universal TV & Media worked closely with the Fox network group to plan and deliver international campaigns across the Fox and National Geographic portfolio. The Fox entertainment channels reached film fans and aired around internationally popular series’ such as Tyrant, Wayward Pines and The Walking Dead, and Nat Geo placement around intelligent science, tech and anthropology themed programming helped to reach an international ABC1 tech-loving audience.
