About Smiirl
Smirrl is a French tech start-up that aims to create human interaction through new technologies. The brand’s ethos has materialize in the creation of a counter connected in real time to social networks. Their customers are from various sectors (local shops, hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping malls).
Smiirl creates a link between what is happening online and what is happening in their shops – to stimulate the clients’ loyalty straight in their shop. The strength of the Internet is nothing without a rich social experience. For office use, Smiirl can work like a powerful motivational tool for the customer’s business team and it can be customised to showcase any KPI or data monitoring.
The Brief
Smiirl instructed Universal to produce a promotional video in a testimonial format and showcase the products USPs by following real-life case-studies. The testimonial format should be used to market products across multiple platforms; online, TV and pre-roll.
Challenges
To represent a wide range of Smiirl counters in a series of live (non-fictional) environments by recording the profile of each business and showcasing the products benefits for real-life users.
Result
Universal produced a 30 second lifestyle TV commercial focusing on the product benefits and it real-time interaction. The product was showcased in a 4 x environments exponential for different market sectors. Universal also produced an extended 60+ second version for use on Smiirl website and a 19 second Pre-roll video for distribution on online platforms/social media.
