“The Polish Bakery was founded in 2003 and we are the oldest Polish bakery in the UK. We are a traditional company and attach a great importance to the quality of our bread. Just like we care about the family, we take care of our bread.

The Brief
To produce a TV commercial which positions Polish sourdough bread as a competitor to traditional white bread, and appeal to an audience of British consumers in addition to the existing Eastern European market.
Challenges
Developing and realising a concept that appeals to the target demographics which maintains a lighthearted and tongue in cheek feel.
Results
Universal TV & Media producer two similar commercials based on a humorous concept revolving around the smell of freshly baked bread from The Polish Bakery, one version has a Sci-Fi theme and one is more lighthearted. Upon broadcast, The Polish Bakery found it beneficial to increase the reach of their initial campaign by broadcasting across two UKTV channels.
